Every few years or so, I go through some traumatic experience, and I just want to disappear and start over. I want to move to a new town, delete my Facebook, and start a new blog. I want to forget everything that has happened and move on, and the only way I can think to do that is to start over.
I know this isn't a healthy way to deal with my problems, but it's the only thing I can think of. Unfortunately, though, I can't move right now, and I can't really bring myself to delete my Facebook. So I'm settling for a new blog.
I have enjoyed blogging in the past, and I hope this blog can be a place where I can process different thoughts I have about topics of family, faith, and, inevitably, politics. Hopefully, this blog can be my permanent internet home.
