Gus will occasionally say ridiculous things in his sleep, and I always end up forgetting them. So I'm going to start posting the stories here.
Last night, Gus went to bed around 9, and I didn't go to bed until about 11. A few minutes after I came in, Gus sat up quickly in a panic (I don't think I could even demonstrate how quickly he moved), grabbed my hip (I was laying on my side), and the following conversation ensued:
Gus: WHAT IS THIS!??
Me: My hip; what are talking about?
Gus: (grabbing my knee) Where are the boys? IS THIS ONE OF THE BOYS!!!???
Me: What boys?
Gus: (annoyed at my apparently stupid questions) Orange!
At this point, he laid back down, frustrated with my lack of answers to his questions, and started mumbling something about having all the ingredients to make maple syrup. All the yelling woke Nathan up, who had the funniest look on his face, as if to say "What the heck is going on, Dad?"
Gus then got up out of the bed and said that he had to go to the bathroom. A minute or so later, he returned and couldn't remember anything that had just happened.
