Gus and I love TV, and we're determined that our children will not be TV people like we are. Not that occasional TV viewing is always bad, but we are not very good at moderation when it comes to TV. Nathan has never really watched TV, just a few minutes of shows on the computer once in awhile. The other day, I wanted to do something different, so I turned on the Thomas the Train DVD that someone gave us and sat Nathan in my lap on the floor to watch it. Pretty much as soon as it came on, he crawled out of our living "room" and found his books beside the kitchen table and proceeded to "read" them for a good 15 minutes. I hope he keeps this up!
